So now, we know exactly what we’ll do for our electronic’s project: a smart hot plate! We know also the main component what we need to make it. We are going to use a static relay to command the plate in order to manage the alimentation of the plate.
We’ll also need a temperature sensor that will be placed in the pot. For that, we have chosen to use the sensor DS18B20. This sensor is waterproof and has an operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C and is accurate to ±0.5°C over the range of -10°C to +85°C.
As everyone, we are going to need a breadboard, one or two potentiometers and an arduino. To display the temperature, we’ll use a small screen, the HD44780.
We have not to buy all components because Maxime has already a breadboard, an arduino and three potentiometers at home. So we only have to command the screen, the sensor temperature and the relay static. We are going to command on amazon because the delivery time is short and it is interesting for us if we want to have time to do tests later.
Louis will do the command this weekend and we hope to receive every component for Wednesday or Thursday.
