This week, we exclusively do some exercise on the Arduino during the lab. You can find the report of this lab here:
Regarding the advancement of our project: our team works has focused on three elements, connection between wheels and DC motors, the body of robots and the Bluetooth communication.
The bearings of the scooter wheels are taken off and we create a system to show solidarity the DC motor with the wheel. We machine this element. The system could be easily dismantle thanks to spanner wrench.
After that, we use Solidworks to assess the minimum thickness of sheet metal. The sheet steel must retain the weight of the battery. The movement and the stress would not be too high. We carry out test for different materials.
Finally, we carry on research about the Bluetooth communication to find the way to solve the problem of password. For the moment, any solutions was found.
